Dead stuttering blogsphere

Not much is happening in the stuttering blogosphere. TheStutteringBrain has fewer posts lately, and not that interesting ones. ;-) StutterTalk seems to be talking more to themselves as an answering phone message that repeats over and over again. StutteringHub is gone more or less silent. Greg at Stuttering.Me hasn't posted for weeks.

You've got to be proactive. You could always run another poetry contest. :-) I bet more stutters have tried their hand at poetry then non stutters. It would be interesting to research and determine if any of the great poets were stutters. When one area of the mind has a weakness another area steps up. A blind person can hear snow falling. A stutterer can put into words heartbreaks and longings that never will be spoken.

Tom, how about some more crackpot awards to spice things up? A simple google search will give you a bevy of potential recipients. And besides the entertainment factor, they do a great service. Anyone doing a google search on one of your awardees will find your blog and be armed with a bit more information before wasting time and money.

Tom, why don't you get on Stuttertalk?

Either you are afraid to be on stuttertalk or they/stuttertalk.com are afraid of you.

Which is it?

Nothing is to be feared in life, it is only to be understood.

Is Stuttertalk.com chicken?

Or are you chicken?

(If you stop deleting good honest comments from readers, then NOT boring anymore).

ie Tom you are full of shit....

Apropos the chicken comment above from anonymous:
One who goes around as anonymous is the most obvious "chicken". And if, what is so obvious is not obvious to this poster, s/he is many things besides being a "chicken"....

In addition to my blog - thanks Tobias for the mention - there is a lot of activity lately on the covert-s list serv. That group is generally very sporadic, but lately there has been a spurt of lively discussion, that has even prompted several lurkers to post and include their names!

We're still active over on Stuttering Online Therapy's blog. I hope you'll check us out and let me know if you'd like to exchange links.

I'll be adding a blog soon - just what the world needs. ;-) I've spent a lifetime studiously ignoring speech therapy, and I have just enough science training to make me dangerous.
