I found myself intrigued and wanted to post about my experience. Alcohol for me worsens my stutter, in my uneducated assumptions I think it's because alcohol depresses my central nervous system which decreases my focus when I talk? Hopefully not too far off.

When I mix nicotine and alcohol (in the form of a vape, which is a stronger and shorter rush from nicotine), my stutter is completely eliminated! I only vape around my friends, and every time I get that strong head rush I rapidly talk to my friends telling them how it feels so good to talk SO fluidly. I am 19, just finished my freshman year at college. In high school my stutter was debilitating (at least it felt that way, especially in presentations), but ever since getting to college and being able to be myself my stutter has nearly disappeared.

Marijuana IN MODERATION allows me to feel I am deeply in touch with who I am as a human being and frees me to act exactly what feels right to me. It's a hard feeling to describe, but one thing to note is that most of the time with a low amount of marijuana my stutter disappears.

I have a mild stutter and sometimes it acts up depending on the environment, be yourself everyone. A long time ago when I came to the US, I had $5 in my pocket (if you read one of my best-selling books you could probably guess who I am).

Today, I own one of the biggest hedge funds in New York, and I live a badass life.

I'm the living proof that stuttering won't stop you from achieving anything. I know one of the most experienced scientists, psychologists, and doctors in the US, there are studies and a bunch of evidence that stutters are WAY smarter than the average (non-stutterer) person. I don't know why the average gets butthurt seeing this.

Enjoy your day!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12602489.post-76293865910302583482022-04-10T03:11:05.159+02:002022-04-10T03:11:05.159+02:00I attended HCRI in the mid 1980s. I believe that there was only 1 stutterer worse than myself in our class of 12 if I remember correctly. I achieved pretty good fluency by graduation and maintained it for several months before the inevitable regression. I really had to crack down and practice and all of my friends were fine with my new way of speaking after I explained the system to them. I think they were just really tired of me making stupid noises and struggling in vain to say my name.I was able to salvage my fluency in about a month with a lot of work. About a year after graduation I attended a refresher week with my instructor Cliff Goldman at his residence on the west coast. That was a big help because he helped me adapt to my new life with lessons on how to regain and maintain my fluency even in critical times of stress and the occasional stuttering episode. I now find myself reverting subconsciously to breathing and gentle onset when I’m stressed or anticipate stuttering. Well to wrap this up, after I got out of the army, I became a pilot in 1994. I still maintain somewhere around a 98 percent fluency rate and some days it’s higher than that. I still practice on long drives or boring flights when I’m not talking on the radio. I can even address the occasional group of people without wanting to die. HCRI did change my life and I hate to see the struggles here in the comments, but don’t give up. If I can talk anyone can. It’s hard work but I can’t imagine going back to my pre course rating of somewhere around 10 to 20 percent fluent.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12020226539712341943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12602489.post-49474812232821852432022-04-07T23:36:59.889+02:002022-04-07T23:36:59.889+02:00The Perfect Casino: Top Offers & Bonuses at

I chose my left hand. The teacher corrected me and told me its best to use my right hand. So I used my right hand and about that time I started stuttering and it's never stopped.

Cross-referencing the above with an experience I had performing cross-lateral exercises, I noticed that I felt different and my speech was easy. A lot of the theory explained to me tied in the relationship between the dominant hand, eye and ear.

Based on the above, I am going to train my right hand by using it dominantly and see what effect it has on my speech over the next few months.Llewellynnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12602489.post-35584432939374300292020-12-02T10:12:43.319+01:002020-12-02T10:12:43.319+01:00Thanks for the info Fancisco !

The use of any medications or amino acids in this posts wont help. im not focused on " how " it came to be this way. im focused on " where " i can be improve. ive self tought my self to completely lose my personality and adopt a new one which was extremely difficult and also led to an identity crisis. Even if i was fluent it wasnt worth it. My current path is a busy one. now with masks its harder to speak because i have to speak louder, and that was always difficult. through meditation im trying to reprogram my mind in Theta which is right before Delta ( sleep ) I have not reached that stage yet, its very difficult. will update if i make any progress ! Before, i want to make it clear that i am not a doctor or a professional in health, this is my opinion today... I want to study my speech condition in the future, so what you are going to read is something that i found after the daily reading...
After reading this i started searching about the relationship between amino acids and stuttering, and i've found it:
https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/13651501.2020.1735447
This is relatively new, 02 of march of this year...
It fits with the success of John, because l-tyrosine is one of the most deficient amino acids in the study.
If l-tyrosine doesn't work for you, try another from the study (for example, threonine or isoleucine, obiosusly together with tyrosine).
I will give it a try tomorrow and if i see and improvement, i am going to post something here.
To conclude, i want you to read this too, and see if you want to give it a try:
https://medlineplus.gov/genetics/condition/x-linked-creatine-deficiency/
In this study, is said that creatine deficiency cause speech problems:
"X-linked creatine deficiency is an inherited disorder that primarily affects the brain. People with this disorder have intellectual disability, which can range from mild to severe, and delayed speech development."Francisco Rodehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17793139274128512982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12602489.post-13847548424098208492020-11-08T03:10:00.260+01:002020-11-08T03:10:00.260+01:00I am very glad to see that this first talk as Pres...I am very glad to see that this first talk as President-elect was quite strong in term of energy.

Far from the "sleepy joe" diminutive nickname pushed by the trumpists.Xaviernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12602489.post-14139359031794739452020-09-15T08:48:39.895+02:002020-09-15T08:48:39.895+02:00@Ora:

He stutters more now than he used to but a lot of PWS find their stuttering getting worse as they get older maybe because of the inevitable mental deterioration and forgetting words. Personally I think both men are too old for the job and both get confused and can look dopey when giving speeches. The minimum age for being president is 35, I think there should be a maximum cutoff point at 70 or 75.
Biden's candidacy has spurred some interesting commentary and conversations around stuttering. He's presented as an empathetic, humble sort to contrast with Trump. Unfortunately megalomaniac Trump will go off the deep end if he's re-elected.Lisanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12602489.post-36798641547378008802020-08-27T00:30:31.947+02:002020-08-27T00:30:31.947+02:00I bought Richard Harkness' course in about 199...I bought Richard Harkness' course in about 1996 and followed it exactly as described in the manual.
